About Us
International
Furnishings and Design Association is a worldwide professional alliance
of leaders representing the diverse industries that constitute the universe
of residential and commercial furnishings and design.
The IFDA
mission is to provide a professional forum for communication and interaction
among members, to promote career advancement and educational opportunities,
and to increase public awareness of the industry through highly specialized
programming and service to the community.
The
Minnesota Chapter is the third largest chapter with members from the Twin
Cities and out state Minnesota, Wisconsin and the Dakotas. Member's
businesses include commercial, residential, kitchen and bath design; color
and trend information; floor coverings; reupholstery/custom furniture;
window and wall coverings; art and faux finishing; fabric protection;
florist and floral supply; furniture restoration; and mirrors. Others
are engaged in education, marketing services and publications.
Our office is conveniently located in the
International Market Square
building in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Scholarships are available to students in design and furnishings majors. |
